1.- Golf Glove.
The golf glove is to be worn on the "opposite" hand. For instance, right-handed golfers wear the glove on their left hands, while lefties wear the golf glove on their right hands.
The reason for this glove-to-hand placement is that the "top" hand on a golf club is the lead hand, meaning its grip is of essence.
2.- Golf Clubs.
Your Golf bag should have at least:
- 1 Driver
- 1 3-Wood
- Irons. 3-4-5-6-7-8-9
- 1 Sand Wedge
- 1 Putter.
3.- Tees.
A tee is normally used for the first stroke of each hole. The area from which this first stroke is hit is in the rules known as the teeing ground. Normally, teeing the ball is allowed only on the first shot of a hole, called the tee shot, and is illegal for any other shot.
4.- Golf Balls.
There is a rich variety of golf balls to suit the individual game and circumstance. Some offer control, some offer distance while others are suitable for practice only.
5.- Golf Shoes.
While golf shoes are not required on every golf course, they can be very advantageous when it comes to playing a great round of golf. Many people may not realize it, but golf shoes can provide additional comfort and support that other types of shoes do not when navigating a golf course. Considering it takes the average golfer four to six hours to play 18 holes, with an average of four miles walked per course (if a player chooses to opt out of a golf cart), strongly supported shoes are an absolute necessity.
6.- Golf bag.
Organize the clubs by type and number. Most cart bags come divided into four sections: single at back, double in center and single at front. Place the tallest clubs at the back and the shortest at the front so that the club heads waterfall toward you, making it is easy to see all club heads as you face your bag.
